On-Demand Systems (ODS) is a small business manufacturer created in 2019 and located in College Station TX. ODS (linkedin/company/on-demandusa) was specifically created to target low volume manufacture for the Department of Defense and related agencies such as first responders, federal entities, NATO, and U. S. allies. ODS is a production-oriented, deadline driven organization and offers opportunities for personal and professional growth.
This position and the specific job functions are wide ranging and include helping on the production line to include fabrication, assembly, and testing of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies in accordance with production documentation as well as overseeing supply chain operations by developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized, coordinating transportation providers, making special shipping arrangements as necessary, reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders, organizing and managing inventory, storage, addressing and resolving inventory issues, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, utilize inventory tracking system for optimizing inventory control.
