Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial processes and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting operations. This position offers a balanced work environment with one remote day per week and emphasizes flexibility to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate application of accounting principles to financial transactions.
  • Review and validate financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Compile, review, and reconcile internal and external reporting packages.
  • Develop annual plans and monthly financial forecasts to support strategic goals.
  • Oversee intercompany account reconciliations and research technical accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial stability and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain adherence to accounting standards and provide guidance on complex financial matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Strong skills in month-end close, general ledger management, and journal entries.
  • Experience with financial statement audits and account reconciliations.
  • Preferred qualifications include CPA certification and familiarity with public accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes from a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
