Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology experience preferred.

Must be able to precept care team members in the operating room.

Description :

Seeking an Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse.

The schedule offers flexibility with either 3x12 or 4x10 shifts.

Shifts are primarily days from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

No weekend shifts required.

On-call is not required.

Floating within perioperative facilities may be necessary to meet facility needs.

Travelers should be aware of the possibility of assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November.

All remote time off must be included at the time of submission.

The position requires charting experience with Epic.

Patient ratios during the day shift are typically 1 : 1.

Clinical experience is expected, and an application for licensure must be completed prior to starting.

Candidates will be prioritized based on licensing status.

The role involves operations for various procedures and surgeries, including but not limited to total joint replacements, orthopedic surgeries, and surgical oncology.

Critical skills include infection control practices, specimen handling, and anesthesia assistance.

This position does not require weekends or major holiday shifts.

Routine responsibilities include assisting in preoperative and postoperative care, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.

Adaptability to different surgical specialties is beneficial.
