Pilates Instructor

Club Pilates Canton Waterfront is seeking a certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor ("Instructor"), Part Time. Club Pilates Instructors provide safe, effective group Pilates instruction in accordance with all Club Pilates guidelines and expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard). Pilates Teacher trainees must have completed 250 hours of their comprehensive program.
• Up to date CPR & First Aid training and willingness to maintain
• Provide Pilates instruction (intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training) as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards and formats.
• Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience.
• Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio management
• Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
• Lift up to 20 lbs., and push or move equipment as needed
• Speak and hear well enough to communicate with others in one-on-one and group settings
• Participate in grassroots events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote Club Pilates Canton Waterfront
• Assist fellow employees with studio operations as needed
• Part Time position. Club Pilates Canton Waterfront offers classes weekday mornings and evenings, and on weekends.
• Maintain open availability for a minimum of 6 classes and/or training sessions per week
• Other duties as assigned
