Subcontracts Administrator
DCS Corporation seeks an accomplished, and strong Subcontracts Administrator who is self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for activities that span the entire procurement cycle. The position reports to Subcontracts Manager and the position is based in Dayton, Ohio (hybrid / remote).
As a member of the Subcontracts team, the candidate will be responsible for the administration, analysis, and compliance of assigned Subcontracts.
Essential Job Functions :
Effective oversight and monitoring of Subcontracts under U.S. Government Contracts, lead or assist in key negotiations, resolve performance issues, identify risks and associated mitigations, support development of major proposals, ensure compliance with company policies, procedures as well as Federal government and contract requirements. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US. Citizenship is required.
A High School Diploma / GED plus 16 years of experience, an Associate's Degree plus 10 years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters and 6 years of experience.
Strong knowledge within government contracts and subcontracts arena.
Skilled at negotiation, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
Must have experience with all contract types (CPLOE, CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) and an understanding of FAR / DFARS.
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills, including solving problems and mitigating risks.
Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
Candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Excel / Word / PowerPoint, SharePoint site document management, Deltek Costpoint.
