Schedule :

  • M-F, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM Pay Rate : $25+DOE, hourly Location : Boise, Idaho Position Type : Full-Time Benefits :  This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.   Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and respond to ESD compliance check failures, ESD acceptance testing, ESD Botron tester troubleshooting and repair, monitoring, and collecting data.
  • Utilize ESD equipment based on ESDA and the Manufacturer’s directions.
  • Monitor and operate multiple ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) equipment.
  • Verify that machines are recorded accurately in computer programs.
  • Communicate ESD issues with area personnel.
  • Analyze equipment performance discrepancies and communicate possible causes.
  • Validate the accuracy of ESD data.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.

    • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment.  Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to solder, use an O-Scope, and a voltmeter.

    • Preferred :

  • Prior experience working with Electrostatic Discharge systems.
  • Electrical / mechanical skills.
  • Robotics experience.
  • Troubleshooting electronics.

    • Physical Effort / Activities :

  • May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push / pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
