Robert Half is partnering with a growing private equity-owned construction services organization to hire a Regional Controller. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for an experienced accounting executive who thrives in a complex, multi-entity environment and enjoys building scalable processes within a fast-paced, acquisitive organization.

About the Role

The Regional Controller will oversee all regional accounting operations across a multi-location footprint, managing a team of 16 direct and indirect reports. This leader will be responsible for driving accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls while supporting continued expansion through acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to join an established platform experiencing significant growth and operational transformation. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting acumen, exceptional leadership abilities, and the ability to manage complexity at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-location accounting team, providing vision, oversight, and mentorship
• Oversee all regional accounting functions including AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, month-end close, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage accounting operations across 12+ markets and 4045 business units, supporting ~$600M in revenue
• Drive standardization, automation, and process improvement across accounting workflows
• Partner with corporate and operational leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Support integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, ensuring accurate and timely onboarding into accounting systems
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit requirements
• Lead or participate in special projects related to systems, process enhancements, and scalability initiatives
