Become the Nutrition Specialist You Aspire to Be

  • Provide communication and counseling to patients based on physician directives and dietary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Assess referral orders to ensure nutritional intake is appropriate.
  • Accurately document relevant information in patients' medical records per established standards.
  • Implement nutritional care plans, adjust menus, and support patients with special dietary needs.
  • Conduct calorie counts and provide meaningful recommendations.
  • Evaluate, revise, and approve menus for nutritional adequacy.

    • Qualifications

  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • State licensure is required.
  • Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
  • One year of Clinical Dietetics experience is preferred.
