General Position Summary :
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex business problems and driving initiative completions. This role is driven by the need to set up and maintain automation and operational efficiency across systems and processes. You will partner with stakeholders across departments to understand their challenges, analyze data flows, and identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization. You will translate business goals into actionable requirements in IT, systems, and reporting, ensuring that developed solutions align with strategic objectives. This role is responsible for ensuring system compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, 42 CFR Part 2, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
The Business Systems Analyst enjoys solving complex problems and thinks carefully before acting. They look at every possible outcome and look for concrete research before forming opinions. They are adaptable and quickly respond to changes in their environment, making them fast learners. They are good at preparing a plan but can also adjust based on feedback and confidently make decisions. At BPA Health this person is a 'doer' - from planning to executing.
