A company is looking for a Technical Editor / Writer.
Key Responsibilities
Create and edit technical documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards
Acquire technical knowledge by interviewing engineers, observing production methods, and reviewing specifications and drawings
Oversee preparation of illustrative materials such as diagrams, charts, and parts breakdowns
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent education / experience
4-6 years of professional experience, or 2-4 years with a related Master's degree
Experience managing technical writing projects from planning through delivery
Proficiency in XML authoring, MS Office, MS Word, and Acrobat authoring tools
Ability to write technical content for manuals describing installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment
