We're looking for an empathetic, collaborative, and trauma-informed leader to serve as our Director of Social Emotional Learning, someone who believes that belonging, emotional safety, and whole-child development are essential to youth development.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the strategy, design, and implementation of a comprehensive Social Emotional Learning (SEL) approach across our Clubs, grounded in the CASEL Framework and rooted in trauma-informed best practices.

Working alongside school districts, community partners, families, and our incredible Club teams, you'll ensure our members feel supported, empowered, and set up for success-in school and in life.

Key Impact Areas

• Build & Lead the SEL Vision

Develop and manage a robust SEL Strategic Plan that strengthens organizational culture, Club site climate, behavior supports, wellness, positive mindsets, and a sense of belonging.

Identify, implement, and evaluate effective resources including trainings, curricula, and assessment tools to meet goals and continuously improve outcomes.

Partner closely with school districts, SEL staff, principals, counselors, community agencies, and service providers to create aligned, student-centered supports.

Identify members in need of additional support and help coordinate collaborative plans with families, educators, and support teams to elevate success.

Work with senior leadership to design trainings, coaching, and assessments for staff, mentors, and volunteers ensuring SEL strategies are implemented.

Hire, supervise, coach, and evaluate SEL team members

Partner with the Director of Grant Operations to track, report, and deliver SEL outcomes tied to grant requirements.
