SBH: Interdisciplinary Studies - (Full-time, Day Shift) -

This position is responsible for providing administrative and fiscal programmatic support for grants and projects externally internally funded to the School of Behavioral Health. The individual in this position works closely with the Associate Dean for Research, Pls, and the Office of Sponsored Research to develop grant bugets, maintain grant and project accounts, monitor spending, and provide the documentatin required for accurate and timely invoicing. Addiditonal responsibilities include maintaining additional grant and project related documents and office poroductivity, as well as other duties assigned by the Associate Dean for Research and Pls.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or Minimum one to three years of experience working in project and account management preferred
Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
