Summary : The CDL B Driver is responsible for safely operating a straight tanker truck to deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role includes loading and unloading via a pumping system or drum handcart, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. A valid CDL B license with Tanker Endorsement is required.

Essential duties of Position :
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in proper working order.Maintain accurate driver logs, service records, and inspection documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.Obtain necessary receipts, customer signatures, and payments when required.Maneuver trucks into loading / unloading positions, following crew signals and ensuring safe equipment positioning.Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages promptly.Complete daily loading and fueling procedures at the end of each shift.Adhere to company safety and health policies, OSHA guidelines, and all applicable state and federal regulations.Recognize workplace hazards and take appropriate safeguards.Wear required PPE and maintain a professional appearance.Report all incidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, safety investigations, and corrective action processes.Other duties assigned by managementKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed :
The capability of maneuvering a fifty-five (55) gallon drum of product from the truck to the customer’s desired location, with a drum cart and the approximate weight being between 300 – 600 pounds.Ability to pump out product from client location to tank truckThe ability to climb in and out of a trailer numerous time a day.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Qualifications :
High school diploma / GED (required)Tanker endorsement (required)One (1) to three (3) years verifiable related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B or A, including current medical card, and equipment certifications as by State and / or Federal regulations.
