Self-Scheduled : Enjoy flexibility in managing your shifts.Shift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)Requirements : 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule, 1 Weekend, and 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)RNs will receive training in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and will be cross-trained to be Charge RN.Why Join Our Internal Float Pool?

As part of our Float Pool, you will rotate among various units including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Every shift will provide you with new experiences and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide patient-centered care while floating between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.Deliver excellent care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Quickly adapt to different unit workflows while maintaining high clinical standards.What We're Looking For :
Experience : Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).Flexibility : Ability to fulfill the scheduling requirements stated above.Training & Skills :
Training includes :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)NIHSS (Stroke Scale)IV UltrasoundCharge Nurse cross-training for leadership skill development.What You'll Gain :

Licenses & Certifications :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Degrees :
Completion of an accredited program in Nursing.
Required Functional Experience :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a patient and family focus.Proficient in recognizing changes requiring interventions, responding with confidence and timeliness.Strong computer skills, including electronic medical records and email.Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.Initiative and collaborative problem-solving abilities.Capacity for critical decision-making.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Experience in team building and collaborative delegation.Successful candidates will also maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.
