Position Summary :

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform ICD-10 Diagnosis and ICD 10 (PCS) procedural coding, as applicable, for all Aultman’s Inpatient Services that are currently coded by the department. Candidates will be expected to utilize their experience and knowledge along with referencing to AHA Coding Clinics and UHDDS guidelines. Rehab coding will also include completion of the coding potion or the IRF-PAI.

Department Summary :

Remote Coding department with credentialed colleagues and leadership. We have full-time Inpatient / CDI Quality Assurance and Training colleagues to assist with training, questions and auditing. We work in a fast-paced quality driven environment.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC preferred, additional certifications helpful
• 3 – 5 years of Inpatient experience preferred in hospital setting
• IRF-PAI Knowledge helpful
• Knowledge of accounts receivable goals and impacts helpful
