Cardiology - Advanced Practice Provider

Overview

Carle Health is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Group in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join an established and well-respected Cardiology Practice in Central Illinois
• Work with multiple Physicians to collaborate on care for Cardiac patients both in the hospital and in the Clinic
• Round on patients in the hospital
• Cardiology APP will oversee in-hospital and clinic stress tests
• First responder to all daytime calls for hospital rotation
• Typical schedule will be M-F / 8:00a-4:30 pm; with rotating weekends and no weeknight call
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

• Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public-school districts

Education Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified AGNP, AGACNP, or Adult CNS - Board Eligible will be considered
• Experience working in Cardiology or Critical Care is a plus

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
