Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Patrol Driver in Salinas, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine driving patrols throughout auto dealership locations. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills will foster a welcoming environment while you respond to incidents and provide support to clients and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto center location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all activities, incidents, and observations according to site requirements.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing duties.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines to uphold the security-related needs of the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
