Looking to join a fast-paced and growing company? This multi-location nationwide company is seeking its next Cash Application Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is fully onsite in Fullerton, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Process and apply cash receipts accurately and efficiently across multiple locations.
  • Reconcile customer payments and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to ensure accurate account balances and timely payments.
  • Maintain detailed records of all cash applications and adjustments.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on cash application trends and outstanding balances.

Requirements :

  • Have at least 2+ years of experience in cash application processes.
  • Possess experience with collections for multi-location businesses.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash posting and reconciliation.
  • Exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

    • Qualifications :

  • Apply strong analytical skills to review and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding cash applications.
  • Utilize problem-solving abilities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards in all cash application activities.
  • Work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
