    About the Role

    The healthcare outreach developer is a senior-level , field-driven sales leadership role responsible for owning census growth , referral development , and market expansion for Assured Quality Homecare in both eastern Connecticut and in Rhode Island. This position carries direct accountability for growth results and plays a critical role in shaping and executing the agencys external sales strategy. You will meet with prospective clients and families to assess care needs, collaborate with internal care teams, recommend appropriate services, finalize service agreements, and follow up to ensure long-term client satisfaction.

    This role is highly field-based, requiring consistent in-person relationship building with referral partners, healthcare organizations, and community stakeholders. Success in this role demands initiative, strategic thinking, strong execution, and measurable outcomes.

    What Youll Do

    • Own census growth by executing a strategic, field-based sales and outreach plan aligned with company goals.
    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with families, referral partners, and healthcare professionals through consistent in-person engagement.
    • Meet directly with families to assess care needs, recommend appropriate services, facilitate service agreements, and support long-term satisfaction.
    • Develop and expand a high-performing referral network, including hospitals, SNFs, assisted living communities, geriatric care managers, and elder law professionals.
    • Maintain a visible presence in the healthcare community through regular provider visits, events, and educational opportunities.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure referral conversion, smooth care startup, and exceptional client experience.
    • Track outreach activity and referral performance to ensure accountability and identify growth opportunities.
    • Represent Assured Quality Homecare with professionalism, leadership, and credibility in all external interactions.

    • Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field (preferred).
    • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, senior care, or relationship management .
    • 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach.
    • Proven ability to manage and grow professional relationships in complex, people-centered environments.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Working knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between Connecticut and Rhode Island.
