Critical Care - Daily Encounters: 11
- ICU Model: Closed ICU
- Staffing Model:
o 24 hours Intensivists
o 72 hours of dedicated ICU-Hospitalists
o 60 hours of APP Coverage - EMR: Cerner
- Work collaboratively with the Integrated Acute Care team (emergency, critical care, and hospital medicine service lines also managed by USACS)
- For CV ICU:
- Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible critical care Physician (intensivist) with experience in cardiovascular critical care. St John's has a very active cardiac/cardiovascular surgery program. The intensivist will lead the team in the ICU to manage the patients. USACS Tele-Critical Care will support the night teams with board-certified intensivists.
- Shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (12 hours), 14 shifts/month
- For MICU/SICU:
- Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pulmonary/critical care, or critical care Physician (intensivist) to work as a consultant in the medical and surgical ICU units at Ascension St John's. The team includes dedicated ICU-hospitalists and advanced nurse practitioners, providing coverage 24 hours per day. USACS Tele-Critical Care will support the night teams with board-certified intensivists.
- Shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (12 hours), 14 shifts/month
