Supporting a 1,200-acre campus, RED-Rochester has the utilities, infrastructure, technical services, support services, space and complementary regional resources to benefit a wide range of industry verticals. We are seeking a Utilities Mechanic – Rotating Machinery who enjoys the challenge of large scale, industrial machinery maintenance. Our infrastructure consists of a blend of classic and modern industrial assets and requires a person with broad industrial and utilities expertise – able to collaborate and work well with others; able to communicate professionally both up and down the organization; and able to work with other departments and contractors to achieve success. The Utilities Mechanic – Rotating Machinery is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment essential to utility operations, with a primary focus on rotating machinery. The role is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems that power Eastman Business Park’s extensive infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair rotating mechanical equipment, including :

Pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement)

Equipment Competencies, but not limited to :

Education and / or Experience :

High school diploma / GED

10 years of applicable utilities mechanic or millwork experience (or comparable Military Service experience within defined trade).

Trade school or technical certification in mechanical maintenance

Qualifications or Licenses :
