divh2Software Developer / h2pANALYGENCE is seeking a Software Developer to support multiple specified areas of cyber and information security to ensure that the NIST (National Institute of Standards Technology) mission can be met to provide standards, technology, tools, and practices to protect our nations information and information systems. In this role, you will support services to NIST to engage stakeholders and reduce cyber risks to organizations, individuals, and the Nation. This position will work remotely from a home office. / ppResponsibilities : / pulliAnalyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. / liliDeveloping block diagrams and logic flow charts. / liliTranslating detailed design into computer software. / liliTesting, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product. / liliPreparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. / liliEnhancing software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. / liliProviding guidance and training to less experienced analysts / programmers. / li / ulpRequirements : / pulliAs a federal contractor, position requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. / liliMinimum of 7 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing systems analysis, development, and implementation for business, mathematical, engineering, or scientific settings using a variety of information technology resources. / liliExperience with Java, Python, and JavaScript (Angular, React, and other frameworks). / liliFamiliar with Git, Docker, Kubernetes and related container and virtualization technologies. / liliExperience with Selenium, Katalon, and other automated testing tools preferred. / liliExperience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies. / liliExperience with object or functionally oriented programming languages. / liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools. / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills. / li / ulpMinimum Education : / pulliA Bachelors degree in computer science / systems, information systems / technology, engineering / engineering technology, software engineering / programming, cybersecurity, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business / finance. / liliA Masters Degree in an IT-related field may be substituted for 2 years experience. / liliA PhD in an IT-related field may be substituted for 5 years experience. / liliOR no college degree and 11 years of general IT-related experience of which at least 5 years must be specialized experience as a developer. / li / ulpSummary : / ppOur people-first culture drives mission success.
