A company is looking for a Publishing Editor, Open Access.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of Open Access journals, enhancing quality, visibility, and financial performance
Provide mentorship and actionable feedback to journal editors while monitoring performance and revenue
Advise on journal impact, uphold publishing standards, and represent the company at conferences
Required Qualifications
Experience managing academic or scientific journals with a proven record of improving performance
Familiarity with the full journal publishing lifecycle from submission to distribution
Ability to navigate ethical and legal publishing challenges
Proven track record of building relationships with editors and societies
Strategic mindset for analyzing financial performance and driving revenue growth
