Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s)). 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1 / 1, 4 / 1, 7 / 1, and 10 / 1). Location : hiring for standalone clinics (no floating required) in Scarsdale and White Plains
Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7 : 30 AM and 5 : 30 PM (no weekends, no evenings)
Requirements : completed high school diploma or GED equivalence, minimum of a completed CMA certification or diploma from an accredited program, active BLS (can obtain during onboarding / compliance after offer is extended)
Nice to haves : CCMA or RMA certification, prior experience utilizing Epic, bilingual (Spanish & English)
Job Summary :
Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant who is responsible for various clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care and improve healthcare delivery. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vitals, cleaning patient rooms, checking patients in and out, scheduling patients, and assisting with patient visits alongside providers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Rooming patients.
- Recording vitals.
- Perform EKGs.
- Cleaning patient rooms.
- Checking patients in and out.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Assisting providers with in office procedures.
- Clean and stock examination rooms in between patients.
- Collecting specimen as requested; phlebotomy, urinalysis, point of care testing, etc.
