HIRING TODAY FOR A FULL TIME POSITIONS IN SANTA MARIA, CA.

Position 1- Full Time/40 hours per week - Driver's License Required:
Friday-Tuesday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Position 2- Full Time/40 hours per week- Graveyard shift - Driver's License Required:
Thursday-Monday 10:00pm-6:00am

Position 3- Full Time/36 hours per week - Graveyard / Day shifts - Driver's License Required:
Tuesday 10:00pm-6:00am (Awake shift)
Wednesday 6:00pm-6:00am (Awake Shift)
Thursday 2:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday 6:00am-2:00pm

Spread Your Wings (SYW) Direct Care Staff (DCS)/Supportive Living Staff (SLS) are responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients. DCS/SLS’s primary duty is to provide the appropriate support tailored to the needs and desires of each individual to enable each to live as independently as possible. DCS/SLS is expected to recognize when an individual is in a crisis and be able to utilize the appropriate procedures to handle the situation in a professional and safe manner.

What you'll do:

• Assist, monitor, and teach individual(s) with preparation of daytime activities and encourage good personal hygiene and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment. These activities may include grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and clean up.
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients.
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes.

• Have a passion for helping others and believe in treating people with dignity and respect.
• Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs.
• Are a strong communicator and dependable.
• Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings
• Have experience working in a similar role or field (preferred, not required)
• Are willing to learn and grow in this role.
