Focaliti Business Developer-(2500006N)
Description
Serve as a strategic bridge between Babcock & Wilcox and its Focaliti entity—an AVEVA solution integrator. Responsible for identifying opportunities clients, focusing on AVEVA implementation, training, and support.
It includes. qualifying leads, conducting introductory calls, and collaborating with technical experts to develop proposals that showcase Focaliti’s capabilities. The position maintains strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities, while also managing project workloads and coordinating recruitment efforts to secure top technical talent.
Business Development & Client Engagement
1.Qualify leads, conduct introductory calls, and coordinate follow-up meetings.
2.Collaborate with technical and subject-matter experts to prepare proposals and support sales efforts.
3.Maintain close relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify new opportunities, and anticipate upcoming needs.
4.Build enduring partner relationships and present solutions that combine Focaliti services with B&W’s broader portfolio.
5.Articulate Focaliti’s capabilities—revision control, data continuity, AI-enabled P&ID redrafting—in client proposals and presentations
Resource & Operations Management
1.Monitor project workload and resource allocation
2.Identify and qualify technical resources (internal and external) to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
3.Work closely with HR to manage the recruitment process, from defining needs to interviewing and onboarding.
Market & Talent Engagement
1.Represent Focaliti at events, and career fairs
2. Support social media (LinkedIn) posts and networking initiatives.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or digital systems; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
2.Experience in technical engineering environments, ideally AVEVA Unified Engineering.
3.Mastery of consultative sales techniques and client enablement.
4.Experience with AVEVA
5.Experience with CRM.
6.Comfortable in rapidly evolving, digital-first environments; strong consultative selling and change agency skills.
7.Ability to help clients define digital transformation roadmaps, from training to continuous improvement.
8.Proven experience in business development, operations, or account management.
9.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with both clients and internal teams.
10.Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing commercial, operational, and people-related needs.
11.Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a small, dynamic structure.
