[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ in a management capacity. Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems (experience with Plex, EPICOR, or other integrated platforms a plus). Manufacturing experience. Aerospace experience is preferred but not required. Confident communicator and hands-on leader able to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally. What You'll Do
- Lead the general accounting function, including cost accounting, cash management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP to safeguard company assets.
- Drive budgeting and financial analysis across departments, helping management make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Manage monthly and year-end close processes, audits, and government reporting.
- Partner closely with operations and cost accounting to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a small accounting team (GL, AP, and Cost Accountant).
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
