Partners Professional is currently seeking a qualified Medical Billing Specialist for our clients located in Doylestown, PA. The role is being offered as a temp to hire. After the first 90 days, with successful training, and may then become hybrid. This position will be Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm daily.

  • Qualifications

o Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable follow-up

o Proficiency in computer systems and billing software

o Experience in one or more phases of the Revenue Cycle (e.g., AR follow-up, insurance verification, charge entry, payment posting)

o Familiarity with payer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred

Having previously worked in Behavioral Health would be a strong plus for consideration.

  • Responsibilities

    • o Conduct insurance verification and interpret benefit plans

    o Run batch and real-time eligibility checks (270 / 271)

    o Create billing batches and scrub claims prior to submission

    o Process electronic claims (837, 999, 277)

    o Post payments (835 – electronic and manual)

  • Follow up on denied claims and manage appeals
