Le Specialità brings the timeless spirit of Milanese dining to Miami. Our restaurant - part of the celebrated legacy founded in Milan in 1977 - offers handcrafted pastas, thin-crust pizzas, seasonal coastal-Italian dishes, and an elevated wine and cocktail program. The space is a 100-seat "radical retro-chic" experience, mixing vintage design, contemporary art, and warm hospitality in the heart of the Miami Design District.
We are committed to preserving authenticity, seasonality, and exceptional service - and are now looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help build a next-level guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily front-of-house operations (dining room, bar, reservations, events) to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality guest service.
- Manage and mentor FOH staff : hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews - fostering a team environment rooted in hospitality and professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar leadership to ensure timely, coordinated service from order to plate / glass.
- Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality - upholding Le Specialità's standards for presentation, consistency, and hospitality.
- Oversee inventory control and ordering for the beverage program (wine, cocktails, liquor, bar supplies); monitor costs, portion control, and supplier relationships.
- Work with management to coordinate reservations, private events, and large tables - optimizing seating capacity, flow, and guest satisfaction.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Promote the restaurant's brand identity, culture, and guest experience standards - ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and immersed in the Le Specialità experience.
- Assist in developing and executing promotional events, seasonal menu rollouts, and beverage menu updates (wine / cocktails), in line with the restaurant's concept.
Qualifications & Skills (must ‐ haves)
Strong leadership and team-management skills; ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing service team.Deep knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail programs; wine-list management experience is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences under pressure.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks (staff scheduling, inventory, events, service flow).Commitment to high standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours typical of fine-dining service.(Preferred) Prior experience working in restaurants with Italian cuisine or wine-forward beverage programs.What We Offer / Why You Should Apply
