Shift Requirements : \n\n7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM\n\nWeekends required\n\nJob Description : \nThe technologist will assist with procedures and provide diagnostic support by performing organ and body scans on patients. Responsibilities include : \n\nPreparing and positioning patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters\n\nPreparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and state / federal regulations\n\nObserving patients during procedures and reporting any abnormal activity\n\nMonitoring imaging protocols and recommending updates or refinements as needed\n\nFollowing all radiation safety procedures and guidelines\n\nPerforming specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures\n\nAssisting Radiologists / PAs during interventional procedures\n\nEnsuring all activities comply with regulatory and accrediting agency standards\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration Requirements : \n\nBLS (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)\n\nCardiographic Tech credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) — required prior to hire or transfer\n\nARRT Radiologic Technologist – Radiography certification — required prior to hire or transfer (any specialty accepted)\n\nIllinois Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (required, along with ARRT certification)\n\nRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI — preferred\n\nEducation / Experience : \n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of cumulative experience,\nOR\n\nAssociate ’s / Technical degree,\nOR\n\n4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
