Field Technician - Flow Monitoring & SSES

Birmingham, AL

Contract Position

$21.00 - $27.00 / Hour

Support sewer system field operations by installing, operating, and maintaining flow and rainfall monitoring equipment, with regular travel and physical work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities :

• Perform fieldwork across all product lines, including flow monitoring and Sewer System Evaluation Surveys (SSES).
• Install, operate, calibrate, and maintain flow monitors and rainfall gauges .
• Collect and verify sewer flow and rainfall data for accuracy.
• Conduct inspections of manholes , using manual and telemonitoring methods.
• Perform flow isolations , smoke testing , dye flooding , and site inspections .
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with quality procedures.
• Ensure vehicle and equipment safety and functionality.
• Follow all company safety policies and complete mandatory safety and technical training.
• Travel frequently and work overtime as needed.
• Serve as the second crew member during field assignments.

Qualifications :

Basic mechanical aptitude and electronic troubleshooting
