Logistics Development Engineer

Wrtsil Energy Business is now looking for a Logistics Development Engineer to lead and manage logistics partner performance. As a Logistics Development Engineer, you will be working as a part of the EPP logistics team. The position is located in Houston, USA.

In this role, your work will focus on these responsibilities :

• Maintain and verify logistics partners compliance and capability towards QMS tailored to transportation operations
• Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and internal company standards
• Conduct regular audits, operation inspections, and performance reviews to identify risks, non-conformities, and improvement areas
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions
• Evaluate and manage the quality performance of third-party transportation providers and suppliers
• Monitor quality and performance KPIs (on-time delivery, accident rate, claim rate, etc.) and provide regular reports to stakeholders
• Create and execute development plan for logistics partners in own area
• Collaborate with customer support team to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
• Be active member in Global Category team
