Pediatric School Nurse Ramsey, MN

Position Type : Full-Semester Contract

Hours : Approximately 31 hours per week

Location : Onsite in Ramsey, MN

A full-semester contract position is available for a Pediatric School Nurse in Ramsey, MN. This role provides specialized, one-on-one nursing care for a medically fragile student in a school setting, ensuring health and educational needs are fully supported throughout the school day.

Responsibilities :

Deliver tracheostomy care and manage ventilator settings

Administer continuous G-J tube feedings and perform ostomy care as needed

Monitor and respond to seizure activity, including administering nasally delivered seizure medication

Manage respiratory treatments such as nebulizer therapy

Support care related to adrenal insufficiency and oxygen therapy

Provide compassionate, attentive care to a wheelchair-bound pediatric student

Qualifications :

Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current CPR / BLS certification

Experience with pediatric tracheostomy care

Familiarity with managing complex medical devices and pediatric conditions preferred

Ability to work effectively in a school environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
