Youre experienced in performing MRI exams for diverse patient populations including advanced imaging protocols and emergency cases. Youre skilled in MRI safety contrast administration and patient positioning for high-quality imaging. Youre knowledgeable in GE and Philips MRI systems with PACS workflow experience preferred. Youre detail-oriented organized and committed to accurate documentation and quality assurance. You have strong interpersonal skills to reassure patients and coordinate effectively with radiologists and clinical teams. Youre flexible and mission-driven. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI certification required; state licensure where applicable. Proficient with GE and Philips MRI systems Minimum 23 years MRI experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred. Knowledge of anatomy MRI physics and pathology relevant to imaging protocols. Proficient in PACS and EMR systems for documentation and reporting. Commitment to ongoing CME / CEU and VA mandatory training requirements. Job Opportunity : Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
Location : San Francisco CA Onsite at VA Medical Center

Schedule : Full-Time Rotating Shifts (including weekends holidays day / evening / night rotations)

Join our Radiology team as an MRI Technologist to provide life-changing imaging services for Veterans. Your expertise ensures accurate diagnoses and enhances the quality of care for those who served our country.
What Youll Do
- Conduct MRI exams safely and effectively adhering to established protocols.
- Prepare and educate patients ensuring comfort and compliance.
- Operate MRI equipment maintain image quality and monitor patient safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
- Maintain sterile supplies equipment and infection control standards.
- Participate in required VA training and continuing medical education.
