Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician/Electrician to join our team. The role involves various phases of commercial electrical work, including new construction and fit-outs. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team to complete assignments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough-in and finished work
• Conduct trenching and site work
• Bend conduits and assess comfort with different pipe sizes
• Run and pull wires
• Install electrical systems, including panels, switch gears, switches, receptacles, and other fixtures
• Read blueprints, which is a significant advantag
• Work safely on a lift
• Emphasize safety, with OSHA-10 certification being advantageous
• Possess or be willing to acquire necessary tools, including basic hand and power tools
• Use personal protective equipment, including hard hats, high visibility shirts/vests, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots

Essential Skills

• Commercial or industrial experience.
• 3+ years of field experience in electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with conduit bending, pulling wire, and cable installation.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.

Work Environment

You will work on commercial construction sites, both indoors and outdoors. Expect to travel to various job sites primarily in the Lehigh Valley area, with occasional projects in nearby regions. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for Saturday work as needed. A toolbox meeting at the start of each day will determine assignments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
