About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Mid to Senior Data Engineer to join our team and support a key project involving the migration of data from Salesforce to a Snowflake Data Warehouse . The ideal candidate has deep experience with Snowflake strong proficiency in Azure services and hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or dbt .

This role will play a critical part in designing building and optimising data pipelines ensuring data quality and enabling scalable and efficient data integration across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines to support the migration from Salesforce to Snowflake .
  • Develop maintain and optimise ETL / ELT processes using Azure Data Factory or dbt .
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement robust data models.
  • Manage and optimise data storage transformations and processing using Snowflake best practices .
  • Implement monitoring alerting and validation processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline and environment issues ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Contribute to improving data engineering standards documentation and development workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (warehousing performance tuning SQL tasks streams etc.).
  • Proficiency with Azure (Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Functions Key Vault etc.).
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or dbt (at least one is required).
  • Solid understanding of ETL / ELT principles and data modeling.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs data extraction or related integration tools (preferred).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD workflows for data pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
