Senior Data Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead complex data projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Guide and oversee Data Platform Engineers on complex projects related to data environments and CI / CD processes

Collaborate with various teams to define and implement shared services solutions and ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures

Lead the installation and administration of data administration tools while providing 24x7 support for critical systems

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience

Eight years of data management administration experience or related experience

Experience in executing data migrations from on-premise to cloud environments

Thorough knowledge of current relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL

Strong knowledge of applicable scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
