Tax Accountant

Description

We are seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant to join our team and support the preparation, review, and analysis of individual and business tax returns. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in tax accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, along with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the tax process.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Analyze financial statements and documentation to identify tax planning opportunities
• Assist with tax projections and year-end planning for clients
• Respond to tax notices and correspond with regulatory agencies as needed
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff during the preparation and review process
• Maintain accurate and organized client records while ensuring confidentiality

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or EA preferred)

3-5 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance

In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
