You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access. While most of your time will be spent on activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises. You'll be expected to listen to customers and answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise.
Key responsibilities include completing merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, verifying buyback items, updating / validating wayfinding and product location signage, confirming product pricing information, driving add-on sales, repairing / replacing damaged or missing items, and communicating project priorities with the team. Minimum qualifications include the ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic, hear, listen, and communicate verbally. Preferred qualifications include Lowe's sales floor experience, product merchandising tasks, and experience operating power equipment.
Lowe's commitment to growth and teamwork extends to the community as well. To better equip our stores and serve our communities, we strongly encourage bilingual, military, and veteran talent to apply and join our team. This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions vary by location, including exposure to varying climates and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lowe's supports the communities it serves through programs focused on creating safe, affordable housing, improving community spaces, helping to develop the next generation of skilled trade experts, and providing disaster relief to communities in need.
