Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with BLS certification and at least one year of OR circulating experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Operating Room (OR) setting

Position performs duties as an OR circulator

Day shift from 06 : 30 to 15 : 00

13-week contract assignment

Role includes coordinating interdisciplinary care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and assisting with patient discharge planning

Requires strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment

Standard Precautions and appropriate use of personal protective equipment are mandatory

All candidates may be considered for auto offer

Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate per the facility's radius rule, which varies by state

COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023

Requirements

Active RN license, verified via Nursys and current primary source verification within 30 days prior to start

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required

Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience as a circulator

Must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US address
