Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with BLS certification and at least one year of OR circulating experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
  • Position performs duties as an OR circulator
  • Day shift from 06 : 30 to 15 : 00
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Role includes coordinating interdisciplinary care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and assisting with patient discharge planning
  • Requires strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment
  • Standard Precautions and appropriate use of personal protective equipment are mandatory
  • All candidates may be considered for auto offer
  • Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate per the facility's radius rule, which varies by state
  • COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license, verified via Nursys and current primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience as a circulator
  • Must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US address
