Estimator / Project Manager Commercial Roofing

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator / Project Manager with strong knowledge of various roofing systems and hands-on experience in bid preparation project coordination and client communication. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise to accurately evaluate roofing projects and the management skills to oversee project execution from estimate to completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects including Single-Ply BUR Tile Shingle and Metal roof systems.

Review project specifications drawings site conditions and customer requirements to prepare cost proposals.

Utilize estimating software such as Edge or Bluebeam to perform digital takeoffs measurements and material calculations.

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain material pricing lead times and product details.

Develop comprehensive bid packages and present estimates to clients in a clear professional manner.

Coordinate project schedules labor needs material orders and subcontractors once a project is awarded.

Monitor job progress resolve field issues and ensure projects are executed according to specifications safety standards and timelines.

Maintain strong communication with clients internal teams and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.

Track project costs generate change orders and ensure profitability targets are met.

Conduct site visits inspections and roof assessments as needed.

Required Qualifications :

Proven experience estimating or managing commercial roofing projects.

Strong knowledge of roofing systems such as Single-Ply (TPO / PVC / EPDM) BUR Tile Shingle and Metal.

Proficiency with Edge Estimating Software Bluebeam or other roofing / estimating tools.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings specifications and technical documents.

Strong mathematical analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience working with commercial roofing contractors or construction companies.

Project management experience overseeing roofing installations from start to finish.

Familiarity with safety regulations permitting requirements and industry best practices.
