Join Jefferson Health New Jersey's nocturnist team, providing dedicated overnight inpatient care in our South Jersey acute care hospitals. This full-time role involves 11-12 twelve-hour shifts per month (7 p m-7 a m), offering a supportive and sustainable work schedule.

This position offers a 10k sign-on bonus.

Job Description

• Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care : Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and manage care for previously admitted patients.
• Cross-Coverage Support : Provide backup to APPs, assist with ICU needs including rapid responses and Code Blue events.
• Clinical Supervision (Optional Academic Track) : Supervise residents and support triage and admissions for teaching teams-three nocturnists typically cover each night.
• Team Collaboration : Coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) and ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change.
• Documentation & Compliance : Maintain thorough charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and plans of care, ensuring compliance and accurate comorbidity coding.

NJ Locations Salary Range : $240,000 -$330,000
