Project Engineer Rail and Mining

The Project Engineer role has a strong engineering background and customer focus with additional technical sales background – the successful candidate will be a member of the business / customer facing team managing projects to implement Intramotev products with customers. Additional duties include consulting on product development as the voice of the customer. This position will be based out of St. Louis, MO.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare customer-specific case studies derived from routes, volumes, and operational profiles for proposals.
• Develop pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kickoff, and milestone schedule creation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Provide technical customer support and establish customer rapport and acceptance.

Typical Education and Experience :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
