Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining equipment. The role involves preparing and operating CNC Lathes and Mills with minimal supervision, performing complex setups, changing tools, and conducting programming edits verified through inspection methods. You'll generate CNC programs using CAM programming software and possess a thorough knowledge of cutting feeds, speeds, and tool applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all CNC machining equipment.
• Prepare and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills under minimal supervision.
• Perform complex setups and tool changes, including inserts, drills, and mills.
• Conduct programming edits and verify changes through inspection methods.
• Generate CNC programs using CAM software with a strong understanding of cutting feeds, speeds, and tool composition.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas, adhering to the 5 S's principles.

Work Environment

The position is based in Phoenix, working inside a well-equipped facility. The weekend shift runs from Monday to Friday, 5 : 30 AM to 2 PM. The dress code is standard for a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and comfort during operations.
