Junior Electrical / Electronic Engineer - Position Description

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Junior Electrical / Electronic Engineer to support our Navy customer in Port Hueneme, CA.

Security Clearance :

Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position / Job Description :

General Tasking Description :

Assist in the research, design, development, testing, manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.

Provide engineering support in the selection, evaluation and qualification of replacement technologies and materials.

Provide input covering such elements as design, materials selection, performance characteristics, conformance testing, and specified quality requirements.

Provide input to the selection, and qualification of current and potential vendors.

Maintain and develop test system software and hardware, failure diagnostics, provide engineering guidance for test personnel, and provide engineering reviews.

Experience Requirements :

3 years of professional experience providing Electrical / Electronic support.

Educational & Certification Requirements :

A bachelor's in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
