Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Multiple Shifts

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Covington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and adherence to property rules and regulations.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
