WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a surgical technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Camden, NJ.

Job Function : \n

  • Day Shift.

    • \n

  • 3x12.

    • \n

  • Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.

    • \n

  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.

    • \n

  • Prepare patients for surgery as requested.

    • \n

  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.

    • \n

  • Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

    • \n

  • Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • 2  years of experience is required.   \n

    • \n

  • BLS certifications  from the American Heart Association.  \n

    • \n

  • Pulmonary experience required.
