Job Description

Position : Lead Mainframe Computer Operator [Shift Lead | Onsite | Washington, DC | Federal Contract Support]

About the role :

SPN Solutions Inc. is also seeking a Lead Mainframe Computer Operator to serve as the primary on-shift coordination resource while performing full operator duties. This role combines hands-on operational execution with shift-level leadership and coordination to ensure production goals are met consistently.

The Lead Operator acts as the first point of coordination on the shift, supporting Production Control direction and maintaining operational flow across printers, output handling, and job support activities.

Place of performance : NW, Washington DC. [100 percent onsite.]

Shift schedules : [Day shift : 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM & Evening shift : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM]

Each role is an 8-hour shift , Monday through Friday. Candidates must be available to work the assigned shift consistently

Additional lead responsibilities :

In addition to all duties listed for the Mainframe Computer Operator role, the Lead Operator :

• Coordinates task execution across printer operations and output handling during the shift.
• Serves as the primary on-shift point of contact for Production Control coordination Helps prioritize printer setup, supply replenishment, and output staging activities.
• Ensures operational standards for cleanliness, organization, and readiness are maintained.
• Identifies and escalates operational issues to the Production Control Lead or Data

Center Manager when required.
