The Opportunity
Our US Pipeline Safety Compliance team is seeking an experienced DOT Drug and Alcohol Compliance Specialist to join our high-performing team, reporting to the Manager, DOT Compliance Programs. This role is based in Houston, TX, with consideration for qualified candidates in Charleston, WV and other U.S.-based regional offices.
We are seeking a DOT Drug and Alcohol Compliance Specialist who brings expertise in managing federally regulated drug and alcohol testing programs across multiple DOT agencies. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring TC Energy's compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing regulations, including those specific to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role requires strong program management skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate should also have operational knowledge of 49 CFR 191 and 192. The incumbent will be responsible for managing TC Energy's DOT Drug and Alcohol Program and ensuring the Company's compliance with federal regulations related to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing procedures and requirements. This includes compliance with regulations specific to the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role requires strong program management skills, regulatory expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
